Our outstanding consulting staff has years of experience with a wide variety of public and private sector organizations. They have the ability to apply their collective backgrounds in business and the behavioral sciences to the issue of effective management. Each member possesses both practical human resource development skills and a genuine commitment to assisting people and organizations. Working individually or as members of consulting teams, they bring to consulting and training projects the proven capacity to facilitate growth and change with skill, flexibility, and sensitivity.

Alan Scheffer

As founder and senior consultant of Management Associates, Alan Scheffer has guided development of executive teams and managers in a wide variety of organizations. Alan has 30 years of hands-on experience in management and organizational development. As a former corporate director of training and development for Levi Strauss & Co., Baxter-Travenol Laboratories, and Aalfs Manufacturing, Alan's vision is to clarify the job of management using his knowledge of the human dynamics of change and his practical skills in group process.

Nancy Braun

As a co-founder of Management Associates, Nancy Braun has more than 15 years of experience in helping organizations define and work toward their goals. Through her work with manufacturing, service, retail, governmental, and health care organizations, she is familiar with the range of challenges facing both large and small companies. Nancy is skilled in interviewing personnel at all levels of an organization and is able to bring employee perceptions to the surface. She is experienced in analyzing the elements of corporate culture and uncovering potential obstacles to growth and achievement of organizational objectives.

Marie DeCamp

As a co-founder of Management Associates, Marie DeCamp was responsible for the research and design of many our workshops. In addition she masterfully handles the administrative responsibilities connected with the functioning of Management Associates.
