Our Mission and Philosophy

MA Logo

Management Associates is dedicated to assisting organizations develop healthy, unified, and productive workplaces, equipped to meet the challenges of the future.

Our mission is to help organizations become simultaneously more supportive of the people within them and more productive for the people outside them.

Permeating all our work is an underlying philosophy based on two profound convictions:

  • Every human being wants a life of significance and meaning and inherently seeks to express his or her capacities through meaningful work. The poor work ethic so often cited by leadership stems from the gap between the scope of talents and abilities people desire to offer, and the contribution organizations allow them to make at work.

  • The success of an organization  is determined by far more than the sum of the skills, talents, and abilities of the individuals within it. An organization's ultimate success depends on the degree to which its leaders are able to transcend a framework of individual excellence and tap into the power and synergy of collective excellence.

We believe that the major challenge facing most organizations is to incorporate and operationalize a more accurate understanding of fundamental human behavior. In exceptional organizations individual effort is given voluntarily and enthusiastically, thereby leading to extraordinarily high levels of productivity, quality, service and job satisfaction. It is a leader’s job, then, to develop the workplace culture necessary to foster this voluntary and enthusiastic response on the part of employees. This will ultimately lead to healthier and more productive workplaces able to effectively channel the profound collective human potential latent within them.
